I’m just wondering. These two songs are are pure folk music but this band often mixes in influences from heavy metal music, so I’m wondering.

Well, I’m not terribly knowledgeable about folk music to be honest. I can recommend some of my favorite Finnish folk bands though (not metal). Most of the ones I’ve run across tend to mix a lot of other genres into their music though (like jazz, ambient music, etc.).
Why’d you post this here and not R&P or in Europe-Other?
“Suvetar” – Gjallarhorn
“Konevitsan Kirkonkellot” – Piirpauke
“Mullaksi Maatumaan” – Tarujen Saari
“Seelinnikoi” – Värttinä

Ensiferum pretty much is just folk music.
“Kalevala Melody” and “Finnish Medley” from Dragonheads are about how the real stuff sounds.
If you want some just plain Suomi Folk music without any metal, though, try to find some stuff by Loituma (they did Ievan Polka, which turned into an internet fad, but all their other songs are awesome and traditional [if hard to find]).
