    This may sound like a crazy answer, but it seem in the past few years that some Black Gospel artist have used the instruments and feel of Irish music in there songs. Listen to Tye Tribbett & GA’s “Hallelujah To Your Name” as an example.

    American Country/Western music is completely sourced in Irish Folk Music and Scotch/Irish Folk Music in particular.

    Fiddling and slide guitar grace notes are almost exactly the same as the bag pipe and penny whistle glides in Irish Music.
